The management team of the company has been reinforced with the nomination to the Board of Directors of Yann Cuenin as CTO.

With a long and solid experience in the renewable energy industry, a passion for working with Studer products and a desire to further develop the Studer brand, the Studer management team will continue to deliver great value, support and innovation to their customers.

Federico Marescotti, CEO
Federico was nominated CEO of the company on the 2nd of November 2023. He has had a very relevant international management experience as CEO in very important companies in various sectors, the most important of which are: RWE Ambiente Italia, Vela Capital, Friulia, Gruppo Illy, Fimer. He has been brought into the company by the Shareholder in order to steer the company in this period of mounting competition and energy transition; his task is also to define a new vision and strategy for the years to come. Last but not least the shareholder has also decided to give his company a managerial structure independent from the family shareholding. Mr Roland Studer remains the Chairman of the company.

Céline Rémondeulaz, CFO
Céline brings a wealth of financial and accounting expertise since 2023. She previously worked for ten years with the ‘Centre de Cautionnement et de Financement’ (CCF SA), providing a broad range of financial services to Valais companies and startups. Céline also spent 12 years with the Cantonal Bank of Valais. As a dedicated financial professional, she is excited to continue Studer’s international growth as chief financial officer.
Céline holds a diploma in business economics from HES-SO Valais/Wallis and a certificate of advanced studies in finance and accounting from the University of Lausanne.

Pierre-Olivier Moix, CTO
Pierre-Olivier is a master electrical engineer in power electronics and renewable energy systems. He has over 18 years of experience across various academic and practical roles, including researcher, developer, installer, and professor. He joined Studer in 2005, working as a development engineer and then later as R&D manager. In 2012, he moved to HES-SO Valais/Wallis as a researcher and professor in renewable energy and smart grid systems. He was also an innovation engineer at Energies Sion Région (ESR), the local DSO in Sion.
In 2014, he co-founded offgrid.ch, a company specializing in high-altitude offgrid solar installations. In 2018, Pierre-Olivier rejoined Studer as a board member and CTO. He holds a master’s degree in electrical engineering from EPFL, the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne.

Yann Cuenin, CTO and Head of R&D (new)
Yann brings 15 years of R&D and project management experience to Studer and now oversees the R&D, the production and the after-sales activities. He previously worked for the power electronics company ABB and the EV charging systems manufacturer Green Motion. He joined Studer in 2019 as an electrical engineer and was promoted to head of R&D in early 2023. Yann is also a renowned fossil specialist and has made a name for himself with his own company, Nevadia Sàrl.
Yann holds a master’s degree in electrical and electronics engineering from HES-SO in Switzerland.
