New xtender SW release
The xtender series was born in 2007. Since then we have been updating the devices and improving their performance thanks to more than 100 software versions. And we have done it again! This new software release brings new improvements, mainly focused on lithium batteries. Every new technology brings new challenges and lithium batteries are no exception, which is why we are working hard to adapt it to the new energy storage era.
Will this be the last SW release? Of course not! The xtender series has many years ahead of it and we are committed to continuing to push it to the limit.
The main improvements of this SW version are:
- Addition of a maximum SOC to stop charging defined by the user. New parameter “Maximum SOC for end of charge” {6075}
- End of charge improved with VT and VS. Harvest more energy from the sun.
- Limit charge current of individual devices (VT, VS, XT)
- AC-coupling management with lithium batteries
- Improvement of the “solar priority” functionality. Also known as “battery priority”
- Grid feeding and the solar priority work together!
- Extensive tests with Pylontech battery: clarification of messages shown
